How Many Men Do You Know Called Sandra Or Caroline?

This year is General Election year, and in Southampton Itchen, Labour MP John Denham is retiring, with Labour having chosen Rowenna Davis as their candidate.

Davis has a message for the womenfolk of Itchen:

Next year I'm hoping to be the first woman to be elected to parliament in Southampton.

Or, as those who know who Southampton's current and historical MPs are would phrase it:

Next year I'm hoping to be the first woman - apart from the last ones - to be elected to parliament in Southampton.

The other Southampton constituencies are Southampton Test, held by Labour's Alan Whitehead, and Romsey & Southampton North, held by the Conservatives' Caroline Nokes, who defeated the sitting Liberal Democrat MP, Sandra Gidley.

If Davis manages to get elected in May, then Southampton's parliamentary contingent would have 2 women MPs and 1 male MP.
