Let The Buyer Beware

Today, as per usual, I bought newspapers to read. And there is one thing that happens, which annoys me.

When you pay £2 for your Sunday Times, it is reasonable to expect that what you are getting is what you have paid for- the whole paper. Instead, it is infuriating to get home, open up the cellophane, and find that there are missing sections.

Shops wouldn't do this with anything else, so why is it alwasy considered acceptable to do this with newspapers?

So, I decided enough is enough, and have emailed Southampton City Council's Trading Standards Department to ask them to stop one particular supermarket from doing this.
